About the role
The position will sit within our Operations team, manage site start-up, direct all operations, develop and implement plans to ensuring a safe, productive working environment.
Recruit and create a new team as part of the site start up program that is capable to commission, validate and operationalize the site to achieve the ramp-up plans required to meet customer demand. The site Director will then lead and manage the activities of the subsidiary of the Scott Bader Group with focus on leading the site from an operational, financial, customer service and colleague perspective. The Site Director ensures the company operates within the company’s health and safety policies and procedures; delivers profit and cash; complies with Group policies; meets local KPIs. The role is tasked with driving strategy (short to long term) and implementing an agenda of change and continuous improvement. The role is local however the Group structure is a matrix organization and the links with Group functions (Commercial, Finance, Purchasing, R&D, IT and HR) are pivotal to ensure the company works within the Group strategic intent and objectives. As the senior person of the site management team, they are responsible for providing the leadership to ensure all functions are aligned and working together.
The successful candidate will ideally have site management experience within a start-up facility. Previous experience in chemical and engineering background, lean manufacturing, six sigma and/or kaizen experience would be beneficial accompanied with the ability to lead.
Salary & benefits: The salary for the position will be dependent upon experience. In addition to your salary, you will also be included into our company bonus scheme (Group Staff Bonus & Profit Performance Bonus).
