The Davie Community Foundation is a trusted leader in the Davie County community and the go to place for philanthropy for those who wish to make a long-term investment in their community. The positions provide an opportunity to learn about the organization and work collaboratively within for the benefit of the organization and with outside partners to benefit the community we serve.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Foundation office; including communications within the Foundation and with the community at large. The Administrative Assistant will work 20 – 24 hours per week at an agreed upon pay rate. The position is considered part-time and receives no benefits; however, there is opportunity for growth.
Successful candidates will have a high proficiency in social media platforms, MS Office suite programs; creative applications; superior written and oral communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; ability to work independently; and pleasant personality for working with the community. Position Requirements include at least 2 years prior work experience and an Associate Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
