We are currently interviewing for an Administrative Assistant to support our New Business Manager by performing administrative tasks required to produce accurate insurance quotes and proposals. The New Business Admin will synthesize client information submitted by sales reps, enter data into online rating systems, prepare documentation, arrange invoices, and develop accurate insurance proposals while working closely with other members of the New Business team. The right person for this position is fulfilled by playing a behind-the-scenes role in helping a team achieve its goals. This person will have excellent attention to detail, be accurate even under time pressure, be highly organized, and easily adapt to changing priorities with a good attitude. Pay starts at $20/hour.
Job Responsibilities
1. Utilize Salesforce system to collect, maintain, and update data
2. Enter data into carrier sites and complete insurance quotes
3. Communicate effectively with New Business Manager to ensure all information is accurate and complete
4. Prepare insurance proposals
5. Update agency management system (TAM) and customer account folders with all relevant information
6. Upload quotes and bind policies
Required Skills:
1. Attention to detail and the ability to understand desired outcomes to effectively apply procedures
2. Critical thinking skills to confidently work with new and unique insurance accounts
3. Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
4. A strong sense of teamwork and the ability to work cooperatively with other employees
5. Ability to multitask while staying organized and detail-oriented
6. Must manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment and be flexible when priorities shift
7. Must possess above-average computer skills and understand technology
8. CRM Management – Experience with Salesforce and/or Applied TAM is a plus
